One thing I love about living in BC is the abundance of natural beauty. The grand mountains meeting the vast ocean that surround this part of the province is enough to take your breathe away and Porteau Cove is no exception.
On the way back from Whistler the boyfriend and I decided to stop in this little provincial park. While it may not be as grand as other Canadian parks like Banff or Jasper, Porteau Cove has its own quaint charm. The rocky beaches and cool ocean water make a nice little picnic spot. The sound of the crashing waves and cool ocean breeze can make you just lose yourself in the vastness of nature.
We were pleased to learn that you can stay in this beautiful park and defiantly want to come back sometime in the near future.
