Traveling has always been a big part of my life as my earliest memories involve trips. My parents thought it was beneficial for my brother and I to see and experience different cultures (this included exposing us to poverty at a young age).
When I began university I thought I wanted to study international studies (a combination of geography, history, economics, political science, and international relations). I spent 2 years studying international law and development hoping it could make a difference. This desire was sparked by my many travels but especially by my trip to Mainland China. I found that after I lived in the rural countryside for a month, it changed many of my perspectives.
I have seen, visited, and experienced 8 different countries so far but I hope to travel to many more.
